Create a box plot using the skewed data. Notice that the median is no longer centered between the top and and bottom of the blue box -- now it is lower because the range of values in our data above it is much larger than the range of values below it. That is, the values above the median range from about 0 to 12, while the values below range from only about 0 to -6.
